Northwest Championships

The Northwest Championships form part of the Netball WA competition framework and are an important pathway for athletes, coaches, umpires and other officials.
The purpose of the Championships is to:

Provide a platform for Association representative teams to compete against other Associations in the North West geographical area;

Provide a platform for Coach mentoring;
-
Provide a platform for Umpire coaching and badging;
-
Provide Selectors the opportunity for the identification of Coaches, Player’s and Umpire’s for further pathway program’s and regional representative teams;
-
Provide an opportunity for the netball community to come together to network and socialise
Divisions range from 12 & Under through to Open and Masters.
The Championships are hosted by the Associations that make up the North West Region (Karratha, Wickham, Tom Price, Paraburdoo, Newman, Port Hedland, Broome, Derby & Kununurra) on a rotational basis.
The 2024 North West Championships were held in Karratha on Friday 14 June – Sunday 16 June.
